When her older sister challenges her ability to survive in an apocalyptic world, a naive young girl fights to prove herself.
The beauty of the world takes center stage, with minimal camera movement to let the visuals breathe. Static shots on the dolly or sticks will be primarily used, embracing the serene stillness.
Moments of pause, inspired by Yasujiro Ozu's "pillow shots," create space for reflection, especially in scenes set in the field. as much as possible, the visuals should support the beautiful life that Mara and Bug have created amongst the chaos.
